From the very first riff, it's immediately clear: GENERATION STEEL are pure Heavy Metal! Founded in Wetzlar in 2019, the metallic quintet has since established itself as a fixture in the German Metal landscape and is revitalizing the traditional Heavy Metal scene with passion, energy and enthusiasm. With their first two albums, “The Eagle Will Rise” (2021) and “Lionheart” (2023), both produced by Uwe Lulis, as well as an extremely successful tour with Swedish Heavy/Power Metal greats MANIMAL in the fall of 2023, GENERATION STEEL has gained a steadily growing fan base. The singles and Heavy Metal anthems “Steelers” and “Limitless,” released in 2024, were able to set further clear accents. In 2024/25, they supported MYSTIC PROPHECY & IRON SAVIOR on tour, appeared as “special guests” for VICIOUS RUMORS and JAG PANZER, and played various festival shows. With a new lineup and reinforced by singer Mike Stark (Feanor, Stormburner) and lead guitarist Thilo Herrmann (Feanor, ex-Running Wild/Grave Digger/Risk), GENERATION STEEL are ushering in the next era of their band history. They are currently working intensively with their new partners Fireflash Records and producer Piet Sielck (Iron Savior) on album no. 3, which will see the light of the Metal world in 2026.
